Who processes your data
ESLAB, a simplified joint stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Strasbourg Trade and Companies Register under number 851 836 684, whose registered office is located at 1bis rue de la course, 67000 Strasbourg, France, is responsible for the processing of the personal data collected through the Aker Fassi Wholesale website, accessible at https://aker-fassi-wholesale.com/ (hereinafter "the Site").
What the Site collects, and what it does not
The Site is an information page for professional buyers. It has no customer account, no online payment, no newsletter, no comment area and no social network plugin. Personal data is collected in two cases only: when you send an inquiry through the contact form, and through audience measurement without cookies. The Site itself sets no cookie in your browser.
Contact form
When you send an inquiry, the form transmits the information you enter: company name, your name, email address, country, what you are looking for, and your message.
So that we know how you found the Site, the inquiry also carries four technical fields: the name of the traffic source (for example a search engine, a social network or a campaign name), the address of the page of the Site from which the form was sent, the first page of the Site you opened during your visit, and the address of the referring page when your browser provides it.
The form is delivered to our inbox by EmailJS (emailjs.com), an email sending service. The EmailJS script is loaded from the jsDelivr network (cdn.jsdelivr.net).
Purpose: answering your inquiry, sending you a quote and following up the business relationship. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering professional inquiries. The required fields are needed to process your request: without them we cannot reply.
Traffic source kept in your browser tab
To fill the traffic source fields described above, the Site reads, on the first page you open, the referring page and any campaign parameters present in the address (utm_*, gclid). It keeps them in your browser's session storage (sessionStorage, keys eslab_src and eslab_landing). This information stays in your browser, is erased when you close the tab, and reaches us only if you send the contact form. It is not a cookie. If your browser blocks this storage, the information is kept in memory for the current page only.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4)
The Site uses Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to count visits and see which pages are read. It is set up to work without cookies: no identifier is written in your browser (client_storage set to none), advertising storage and ad personalisation are denied, and advertising data redaction (ads_data_redaction) is active. Google Analytics receives technical data about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type and referring site, as well as an event when a form is sent successfully, without the content of the form. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the audience of the Site. This data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
Fonts loaded from Google
The fonts of the Site are loaded from Google Fonts servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To display them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address. The Site sets no cookie through this service.
Hosting and server logs
The Site is hosted by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France (https://www.ovhcloud.com). Like any web host, OVH records technical connection logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) needed for security and the proper running of the service. They are kept for the period set by the host and by applicable law.
Who may access your data
Only to the extent necessary for the purposes above, your data may be shared with:
- authorised ESLAB staff in charge of sales, customer service, accounting and IT;
- our service providers, within the limits of their service: EmailJS (form delivery), Google (audience measurement and fonts), OVH (hosting) and jsDelivr (delivery of the form script);
- administrative or judicial authorities, where required to meet a legal obligation or to defend our rights and interests.
Your data is never sold.
How long we keep your data
Inquiries and the related exchanges are kept for as long as needed to answer them and follow up the business relationship, then for 3 years after the last contact. Some data may be kept longer to meet a legal obligation or applicable limitation periods, for example 6 years for tax documents, 10 years for accounting documents, and for the duration of any dispute until all avenues of appeal have been exhausted.
Security
ESLAB takes into account the nature of personal data and the risks of the processing to put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures that preserve the security and confidentiality of the data and prevent it from being altered, damaged or accessed by unauthorised third parties. ESLAB selects service providers that offer sufficient guarantees in terms of quality, security and reliability.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some service providers (Google, EmailJS, jsDelivr) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. To secure such transfers, they rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, on binding corporate rules validated by data protection authorities, or on a country recognised as offering an adequate level of protection.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have a right of access, rectification and erasure of your data, a right to restrict processing, a right to data portability, and a right to define instructions on the fate of your data after your death. You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest, and you may object to any processing for commercial prospecting.
To exercise your rights, write to ESLAB, 1bis rue de la course, 67000 Strasbourg, France, or send your request through the contact form, giving your full name and the email address used for your inquiry. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for proof of identity. A reply will be sent as soon as possible, and within one month at the latest.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France: CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, phone +33 1 53 73 22 22, www.cnil.fr.
